About Lizzy Maurno, LCPC
Do you feel drained, stuck, or trapped in cycles of dysregulation? Are you seeking space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with your innate capacity for healing? Together, we can gently explore the patterns, wounds, and protective strategies that have shaped you - honoring how they once helped you survive and cope while creating space for new ways of being. Whether you're navigating the effects of trauma, struggling with an eating disorder, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or finding yourself repeating painful relationship patterns, I aim to create a space to heal, grow, and reconnect with the person you want to be.
I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, low self-worth, attachment wounds, and painful relationship patterns. Many of my clients feel disconnected from themselves, struggle to trust their instincts, or find themselves repeating cycles of people-pleasing, self-abandonment, or emotional overwhelm.
My approach integrates IFS, attachment-based, Jungian, and somatic therapies, with a particular focus on childhood, familial, and relational trauma. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, feminist, anti-racist, and sex/kink-positive and work with folks who live alternative lifestyles and have nontraditional belief systems. If you're ready to better understand yourself, heal old wounds, and create lasting change, I'd be honored to support you.
